Linda Jackson Smith, designer and founder of Best Blinds, earned a BS in design with honors from the University of Maryland. Linda completed her MBA at the University of North Carolina, followed by a successful career as a marketing executive with Fortune 500 companies before answering her calling as an entrepreneur in the decorating field. "Design has always been my passion," Linda says.
She has completed numerous interior design and window fashions courses, including a class with Michael Payne of HGTV's "Designing for the Sexes". Linda is a Window Fashions Certified Professional (WFCP), and is an active member of the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA). She stays abreast of industry best practices and innovation by attending the International Window Coverings Expo annually. She is also a member of Drapery Pro, an online forum of custom drapery professionals.
Having dressed hundreds of windows over the years, Linda takes pride in client satisfaction, treating each project and each client with personalized attention you won't get elsewhere. "It's important to me that your windows look their best and that you are thrilled with the result."
